I’m excited to be doing another What’s In the Bible DVD giveaway today! They now have the entire 13-DVD series available taking you on an adventure from Genesis to Revelation!
I’m excited to be giving away the entire 13-DVD set to two readers here this week. If you missed my review from other giveaways, here it is:
At a conference a few years ago, the What's In the Bible? folks approached me about doing a giveaway on my blog. I sort of shrugged them off because the DVDs didn't really look like anything much but some silly cartoons.
However, I said they were welcome to send some DVDs to us to check out and, if we liked them, I'd be willing to consider a giveaway. I figured that would be the end of that since I was guessing we wouldn't like them as they just didn't seem like our type.
Well, we got the DVDs, we sat down and watched them, and I was proven very, very wrong. We LOVED them. (And if you've read here much, you know that it takes a lot for me to use all caps about something!)
Yes, they are silly and corny at times. But a lot of the time they are genuinely funny.
And it's not the fact that they are humorous that impressed my husband and me: it's that they have a depth to them that very few children's Bible products we've seen have.
Our children have learned so many new things about Scripture and how it fits together as a whole. These DVDs have opened up conversations about many, many spiritual issues that we've not broached before. And God has used them in powerful ways in our children's hearts and lives.*
So, contrary to what I ever expected, we are HUGE fans {there I go, using all caps again!} of What's In the Bible DVDs. And I'm so excited that they are giving away three complete DVD sets today.
*Note: As with all things like this, I heartily encourage you to watch these DVDs and discuss what's in them with your children. You might not necessarily agree with everything in the DVDs, but we've found that's provided a wonderful springboard for some really deep and meaningful conversations about spiritual things with our children.

Are you joining us for the 12 Months to a Healthier You Challenge? If so, it’s Friday and guess what that means? It’s time for our weekly check-in to post our progress.
March’s Challenge:
We’re focusing on developing the habit of drinking more water in March. I encourage you to set a simple and doable goal for drinking more water and to stick with it.
My goal for March is to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. I’m also hoping to keep up with January’s habit of doing exercising at least 4-5 times every week and February’s habit of eating six big salads every week.
This Week’s Progress:
I quickly realized that I don’t drink enough water! This challenge has been so good for me and I’m happy to report that I’ve hit my goal of drinking 8 glasses of water every day all but one day! I’ve also kept up with exercising and eating big salads. And I can definitely tell that being intentional about these three things are making a big difference in my life!

I've set aside the month of March to really focus on organization in my home and life. And I'd love for you to join me!
Every weekday morning at around 10 a.m. CST, I'll be posting the day's assignment and then every evening at around 8 p.m. CST, I'll be posting my progress and pictures, along with a link-up for you to share your progress and pictures, too.
Day 5 Assignment
::Get dressed in something that makes you feel great {there's something about dressing in clothes that make you feel great that just gives you more energy and zest for life!}
::Remove your couch cushions and clean out any crumbs, toys, or other miscellaneous items you find. Use an attachment on your vacuum to vacuum the cushions, underneath the cushions, and all crevices of your furniture. Spot clean the fabric, if needed.
::Set the timer for at least 15 minutes and do something you really enjoy and that relaxes and rejuvenates you. If you need ideas, here are a few: read, write, call a friend, pray, exercise, bake, play with your children, laugh with your husband, stop by the bookstore and browse the book selection, work in the garden, or take a nap! Take some time to just stop and enjoy life today!
Note: If you work outside the home or have a really busy week with little time for extra projects, just do the bolded project above.

Today was a good day, but it was a LONG day… lots of unexpected interruptions, lots of memory-making, lots of great discussions with friends and family, lots of productivity, lots of family time… and I. am. tired! But I promised you all I’d get this up tonight, so I’m putting off bedtime just a little bit to get this up.
I was so excited to realize that our commitment to regularly cleaning out underneath the beds and couches is paying off — because there wasn’t hardly anything under there!
That was a welcome relief from the last time I blogged about all the nastiness underneath our couches.
Silas had a blast helping me make pancakes tonight.
He helped put some of the batter on the griddle and then was so excited to tell me what each little pancake was… there was an elephant, a rocket, and many other interesting objects! His imagination always cracks me up!
Cleaning the bathroom always makes me happy… well, at least once it’s cleaned!
I clean out my closet and come up with a bag full of items to get rid of — yay!
How you do on Assignment #4? I'd love to have you share your progress and success with us so we can be inspired. Either post a link to your blog post below or leave a comment with your update.
