Over the past two years, I’ve really become a fan of essential oils. I know they can kind of feel like a “fad” and I’m not one to jump onto bandwagons.
But as one friend after another friend has told me about how much she was loving essential oils, I finally decided to get over my “I don’t do fads” stance and try them. And I was pleasantly surprised.
I Don’t Have a Miracle Story to Share
No, I’m not here to claim that I have lost 15 pounds, feel ten years younger, and never have to go to the doctor again because of essential oils. I don’t have a miracle story like that to share with you, but I can tell you that:
- I am sleeping better at night because I’ve been religiously putting Peace & Calming on my shoulders before I go to bed.
- I have stayed healthier and warded off at least two full-blown colds/fevers/sore throats by using OnGuard and Oregano on the bottoms of my feet.
- I have loved the smell of Thieves, Peppermint, Lavender, and more wafting through the house in our diffuser.
- I’ve soothed aching muscles by rubbing on Deep Blue.
- I’ve calmed a queasy stomach with DigestZen.
- And I’ve definitely felt more peaceful and relaxed by sprinkling a few drops of Calming the Child, Whisper, Elevation, or Serenity in the tub and soaking in it after a long day.
If you’re familiar with essential oils, you’ll notice that there are a lot of different brands represented in this list above. Some of you may be cringing right now because you realize I’m not sold on any one brand.
Why I Don’t Sell Essential Oils
Here’s the thing: I love essential oils and I’ve seen them work well in so many cases, but I just can’t say that one brand is superior to another brand. Why? Because I personally have benefited from multiple brands.
This is why I could never sell essential oils. Many of my friends do and many of them have made good money doing so. I’m happy for them and their success, but I’m also happy with my decision to use multiple brands.
Do Your Own Research
I noticed in yesterday’s post that many, many of you wanted to read the ebook on Essential Oils. And I’m encouraged by that because I think it’s so important that you do your own research.
Don’t just read a blog post or do whatever it is that someone you know does. Research, read, investigate, and experiment with a few different oils.
Figure out what works best for your family and yourself. Maybe you decide that essential oils just aren’t for you. Maybe you decide you only want to stick with one brand. Maybe you decide to use multiple brands.
Whatever you do, remember that it’s important to do what is best for you and your own family.
If you’d like to learn more about essential oils from a very non-biased perspective, I encourage you to consider purchasing the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle. Not only does it have a plethora of in-depth information and encouragement to help you feel better, eat more healthfully, lose weight, and get in better shape, but it has two very valuable resources on essential oils:
There's a good deal of information available about essential oils and their uses, but nothing that covers the fundamentals without getting lost in a jumble of specific applications. So many recommendations seem to contradict each other! How do you know who to trust? And how do you wade through all those details of this oil and that oil, and a thousand different uses?
If you've felt lost or overwhelmed in the sea of information, this booklet is for you. Rather than providing still MORE detailed information about the uses of specific oils, this lays out the basics, enabling the reader to build a foundation of understanding on which to stack all the other information out there. $2.99 value.
Tired of getting conflicting information on essential oil safety and appropriate uses? Get the facts on how you can use essential oils in your home for healthy living, medicinal benefits, and a wellness focused lifestyle with a practical approach to aromatherapy in this online course. The program includes a close look at 12 different essential oils, an evidence based look at potential interactions and contraindications, and step-by-step instructions for dozens of useful and effective household must-haves ranging from body care products to natural medicine.
This course covers the use of essential oils in body care, as antimicrobials, for green living, in traditional aromatherapy, and even addresses the myths and facts surrounding the controversial internal use of these potent oils! Course content is delivered in the interactive student portal through audio lectures, PDF downloads, video demonstrations, interactive quizzes, and a personal course instructor for feedback, guidance, and encouragement! Once you begin, you'll have a full 90 days to access the course content, which includes reviews of scientific studies and over 45 aromatherapy formulas for natural health.
This program includes video demonstrations, online quizzing, audio lecture delivery, and other features which require high speed internet access for optimal benefit. Satellite internet is not compatible with our online quizzing feature. All of Vintage Remedies' programs are self-paced, and upon course completion, you do have the option of purchasing extended access or upgrading to an advanced course at a discount. $95 value.
For the next four days only, get both of these resources (together, they are valued at $98!!) for just $29.97 when you purchase the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle.
But that’s not all!
When you purchase the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle, you’ll get these two comprehensive resources on essential oils plus 70 more downloadable resources & free bonuses! All totaled, the bundle over $1,000 in value!
Of course, you probably won’t read or use everything in the bundle, but if you just go through the essential oil course, get a few of the free bonuses, and read a few other ebooks, that’s STILL an incredibly great deal!
