Every day, we have a choice: we can get up and look for the beauty or we can get up and be overwhelmed by all the hard problems and difficult situations of life.
Do you know what the #1 promise found in God's Word? It's "Do not fear!"
Yesterday's sermon really challenged me how often when I'm frustrated and anxious over a situation, it's because I'm fearful and forgetting that God is in control.
"Faithful living is the best antidote to fear." Our pastor challenged us to just get up and do the next right thing that God has called us to… And that's what I'm reminding myself of today.
(It's Day #11 of the Go to Bed Early Challenge and I'm celebrating the fact that I went to bed by 10 pm on Friday and Saturday and was in bed by 10:20 pm last night. I think this is maybe starting to become more of a habit!!)
Are you joining me for the Go to Bed Early Challenge? If so, leave a comment on this post to let me know how you did with your go-to-bed goal last night.
We're in this together… And if you didn't hit your goal, that's okay! Give yourself grace, don't beat yourself up, and know that you can try again tomorrow!
