1. Use cloth diapers instead.

Many readers save by using cloth diapers (often buying them used or making their own) and skipping disposable diapers altogether.

2. Potty train as early as possible.

Another very practical way to save on diapers is to potty train your children early. Several readers mentioned potty training their children before age 1 via elimination communication.

3. Stock up using Target gift card deals.

Target often has diaper deals where you can get a free $20 gift card when you purchase $100 of diapers. You can then use the $20 gift card to purchase more diapers (essentially for free!).

4. Buy in bulk.

Costco and Sam’s Club offer very competitive prices on bulk quantities of diapers — especially if you purchase the store brand.

5. Use generic/store brands.

Most readers acknowledged that generic brand diapers are typically just as absorbent as the popular brand name diapers. If you haven’t tried your local store brand, it could be a significant savings!

6. Shop at Aldi.

Along with cheaper prices on most grocery items, Aldi has great pricing on diapers — with the cost typically being less than $15 for a 100-pack. Also, Aldi diapers are apparently die, perfume, and paraben free!

7. Redeem points for brand name diapers.

Pampers and Huggies both have point rewards systems you can sign up for and use your points to cash in for free diapers. You can also try contacting these companies to ask for coupons!

8. Cash in on Ibotta rebates and Fetch rewards.

Submit diaper receipts to Ibotta and Fetch Rewards apps to earn cash back throughout the year! Sometimes they run bonuses on specific brands, including diapers!
