As parents, one of our greatest hopes is to raise kids who are grateful and content. Kids who live for something bigger than themselves. Whose hearts are not, “What’s in it for me?” but “How can I serve others?”
Kids who don’t spend their days looking at what’s wrong and hard and frustrating, but who are noticers of the good.
One of the main reasons we put together our new Kids’ Gratitude Journals is to encourage our own kids to develop more of an attitude of gratitude.
They see me writing in my own Gratitude Journal every day and have asked about having their own. So we had fun working with them to come up with a journal that they would love using.
Our new Kids’ Gratitude Journal has a space for each day of the year to either write down something they are grateful for or to draw something they are thankful for.
There is enough space so they can doodle a little, too, as you can see from Kaitlynn’s picture below…
Each month has a theme and fun, simple quotes to encourage kids to focus on the good, appreciate the good, and express gratitude for the wonderful blessings in their life.
There are so many different ways you can use the journals… you could get one for everyone in your family and all write in them at breakfast each morning, you could encourage your kids to write down a blessing every afternoon after school, you could help them write down a blessing after dinner, or you could just give them the journal and encourage them to do it on their own.
You can choose to buy one journal for $10, or you can buy 2 journals for $15 to get them for just $7.50 each! Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more.
These would make great gifts for Easter baskets — or for any time of the year!
By popular request, we also just added a special Choose Gratitude Journal/Kids’ Journal two-pack Combo Set — so you can buy one for yourself and one for your child!
