Need a clean start for the new year? Walgreens is currently offering a great opportunity to stock-up on personal care products to help you feel refreshed for 2016. They have some nice deals on a variety of brands including TRESemme, Nexxus, Caress, Axe, and Lever 2000.

Through February 20, 2016, you can clip a coupon to your Balance Rewards card to save $3 on two of these participating personal care products at Walgreens. The coupon is valid through April 6, 2016.

In addition, you can stack the coupon with these in-store sales to score extra savings through January 30, 2016:

  • Buy One, Get One 50% off Axe, Caress, or Lever 2000
  • Earn 1,000 Balance Reward Points when you buy 2 select Axe body wash products

Would you like to win a $100 Walgreens Gift Card?

I've got a $100 Walgreens gift card to give away this week! To enter to win, just head over to Twitter and tweet to tell me which product you'd most like to try. Be sure to include @MoneySavingMom and #CleanRoutine2016 in your tweet. I'll choose one winner from the tweets to win a $100 Walgreens gift card!

Get Up Early Challenge: Day 12

Happy Tuesday!! It's Day 12 of the Get Up Early Challenge and I went to bed around 9 pm last night and woke up (without my alarm!) at 4:45 am this morning! Yay!

I admit, it really helped that it's no longer freezing cold here… It's SO much easier to get up in the morning when it doesn't feel so frigid!

I've been meditating on Romans 8:28 this morning and how God displayed this verse so amazingly in Joseph's story in the book of Genesis.

I'll be hopping on Periscope around 7:30 to 7:45 a.m. to share some Morning Motivation encouragement and to some thoughts and insights from Rest Assured. I'd love for you to join me or watch the replay (just download the app and search for @MoneySavingMom).

Are you joining me for the Get Up Early Challenge? If so, leave a comment on this post to let me know how you did with your wake-up goal this morning.

We're in this together… And if you didn't hit your goal, that's okay! Give yourself grace, don't beat yourself up, and know that you can try again tomorrow!

P.S. Read more about the Get Up Early Challenge here. Need some help and inspiration to use your mornings well? Download Day 1 of Make Over Your Mornings for free (scroll to the bottom of this page to sign up for it!)

:: 500 Things Decluttering Challenge: Day 11

500 Things Decluttering Challenge

It's Day #11 of the 500 Things Decluttering Challenge. I'm late in getting today's challenge post results up… But better late than never, right?!

Today's project was to clean out the bathroom cupboards. I've been anticipating this project with some dread. I knew it was coming and knew it needed to be tackled - and today was the day.

I ended up finding 26 things to get rid of - and my cupboards look much more organized!

Today's total: 26 items decluttered

Total for the entire challenge: 463 items so far!

I'm keeping a running total of all my items decluttered during this challenge as I thought it would be fun to not only do Daily Totals but also Overall Totals.

How many items did YOU declutter today?? Leave a comment and let us know.

P.S. You can read more about the Decluttering Course I'm going through here. If you'd like to join me in going through it in January and get the videos, information, and printables every day, you can go here to purchase and get it for just $5.99 right now!
